Maryland AmeriCorps State Grants

The Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism administers annual funding for AmeriCorps State grants in Maryland. Instead of two funding cycles as in previous years, all applications will be considered for both Formula and Competitive funding at the same time. Funds are for use from August 15, 2018 to August 14, 2019, for service activities that address critical community needs in education, public safety, health, and the environment.

The first step in the application process for an AmeriCorps State grant is to submit a concept paper, due by 5 p.m. on September 11, 2017. Concept papers will be reviewed and applicants will be notified of acceptance by October 31. Accepted applicants will be invited to complete a full grant application, due in December.
