Maryland AmeriCorps State Grants

The Governor’s Office on Service and Volunteerism administers annual funding for AmeriCorps State grants in Maryland. Grants are used for service activities that address critical community needs in education, public safety, health, and the environment. The Notice of Intent to Apply for a 2019-2020 Maryland AmeriCorps Program Grant is due by 5 p.m. on Monday, October 1, 2018.

Corporation for National and Community Service Grants

The federal agency that oversees AmeriCorps, the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), directly funds AmeriCorps VISTA and other national service programs and initiatives.

AmeriCorps VISTA Project Grants

The Maryland State Office of the Corporation for National and Community Service has announced an opportunity, subject to availability of resources, to develop new AmeriCorps VISTA projects in the State of Maryland. AmeriCorps VISTA (Volunteers In Service To America) is a full-time national service program for individuals interested in developing lasting solutions to the problems of poverty in the United States. AmeriCorps VISTA members create and expand services and programs that help bring low-income individuals out of poverty. Learn more about this opportunity in the Request for Concept Papers. The deadline to submit a concept paper is January 5, 2018.
